TESTIMONIALS
I was able to find clarity into the transition phases that I will be facing in the next six months as my goals and priorities has shifted this year.
It has motivated me to take the difficult step in ensuring that life changes are welcomed and we are meant to adapt and embrace the changes as we go, while still ensuring that the work and lifestyle we choose to live with are fulfilling for us in that moment.
I.K - Singapore
I appreciate how she was able to share selectively from her own experience, without “telling” me what to do. Zuzan also made sure I stayed accountable to agreed milestones and actions during our check-in sessions. Really enjoyed the experience, and would work with her again!
MM Tan - Singapore
I had to think and dig deep for some of the questions that were asked, but that led to a breakthrough of certain things that I wanted to do.
….
I had high expectations (of Alchemy of You) and I must say the programme surpassed my expectations.
ML Ist - Kuala Lumpur
As an education leader who also coaches leaders, I know how much intentionality goes into constructing these experiences and benefitted from both the technical knowledge and skills as well as the adaptive moves based on the needs of the group. We were encouraged to not only look inward and to the research-based frameworks, but also to one another as we co-constructed meaning, drew out insights, and leveraged one another’s strengths in service of our individual and collective goals.
I would highly recommend this program (Alchemy of You) to anyone who is interested in self-leadership, both for the sake of realizing one’s own goals and leading others. I personally feel more self-aware, confident, and effective as a result of this program.

The road here
As a credentialed coach with the ICF (International Coaching Federation), many would have thought that my journey here was orchestrated. It was not.
Like many Malay kids in my generation, I had the privilege of growing up in a kampung house in Singapore with a big, extended family. We were not wealthy, but I was (and still am) rich with verve and willingness, and have always been that kid who canvasses everyone’s energy and says ‘let’s just do it!’ - and lead everyone to jump on the train. Two decades later and the trains were moving faster and got bigger, and the next thing I knew I was leading teams in international content projects, walking into meetings with network executives in media conferences in the US and collaborating with a producer who just won an Oscar. The challenges and growth path were not for the faint-hearted, but I blazed through.
Marriage life also brought me to live in Canada and the US for 12 years, and when we returned to Singapore as a family - I went on to publish 5 books, produced my 3rd award-winning documentary series and wrote and produced a speech for the Singapore President.
However, like you, I too have setbacks, limiting beliefs, muddled goals, performance anxiety and all the things in between that do not make me any more special than anybody, just a living, breathing human.
But one thing that I hold tightly in my life's maxim is - self leadership. I do the work within me first, before I lead anyone.
And this brings me back to you.
I chose the double difficult path of being a certified and credentialed executive and leadership coach, because I am passionate about building capacity in people. I believe unequivocally that as I reach this phase of my life, blessings, wisdom and experience abound - I have a role to contribute to the building of a better society - no matter how small. I am no world-saviour, but if I can coach one person to be a better leader to him/herself and to others, I know I have made an impact on many other lives that the person touches.
I guess I never stop saying ‘lets just do it’ and get people to be on the train. Or anything that moves forward, even if it looks surreal at first.
